b-day continues

Here he goes,]Caiden and I went to see UP ( movie) he was not interested at first, later changed his mind and said he did like the movie, we also went to the park, he rode his scooter there , learned how to apply the brakes "on the scooter " very useful while going downhill, We took Shadow with us, we all 3 had fun.
Caiden went down the slide, rode the swing climbed monkey bars, I don;t tkink they call them that any more.

After the candle we all had COOL Popsicles instead of cake.
He was real safe in the water, one noodle was not enough.

He celebrated with a cool ! pool party, him and about a dozen of his closest friends, the parents came along too.

4th of
the 4th of July came and went with a bang!! and a boom boom too, I was busy all weekend, on Friday, I helped a friend to get her window coverings off, ( she got new windows) came home and did some stitching, D/H and I went out to dinner in the evening.
Saturday early brunch and a matinee with friends, rested for couple of hours, went out for dinner and Cruised downtown. got to see the fireworks of our nearby golf course and, sat in front of the TV to view the synchronized BIG BAY BOOM, got to see the New York and the Boston show too.
Sunday Early run to the San Diego Zoo, got to see the new Elephant Odyssey atracion , great place, can wait till the trees get bigger, then went for brunch follow by shopping and finally came home and made myself a tall an refreshing MICHELADA!! stitch and play with fabric till late.
Monday , reality sucks, but no wonder I was so tired. Next week I got to do noting, oh wait it is my birthday weekend so there goes that idea.
Blow out the candles., make a wish and hope for a better one next year, not just for me but for the rest of the county, world too.

ROAD TRIP
Some go to Paris, We went Tombstone. Arizona a throwback of the old west, Memorial day weekend was
Wyatt Earp Days!, gun fights all Days. Plenty of Saloons to quench once thirst, the whole town is a Historical Monument to days gone by, I highly recommend the trip.

We even toured the old mine shaft.
Plenty of tombstones to be found.

MOTHER'S DAY
Today, my children honor me in their own special way, Omar was so nice to take us out to The Hotel Del Coronado for brunch.
I want to thank my mother for all her wisdom and love.Though she has being gone most of my adult life, no a day goes by that reflect how much happier I was if she was here, enjoining all my kids and now grand kids, I miss you always Lupita.
Time goeS by so fast!
When the kids are all grown-up, and one looks back, I can say TIME GOES BY FAST! WHEN WE ARE HAVING FUN.

Quiet Easter
D/H and I stayed home on Easter, we got lots of done at home, I did lots of sewing, he did lots of resting, he was back to work on Sat. before Easter Sunday, so it was kind of rough for him after 2 months of convalescent time, I got this Pictures from Omar, DIL and Grandson, they seam very happy searching for the colored eggs. that the Easter bunny ( or Grandpa Tom) placed in strategy places for the kids to find.
