This Year just like many others in the past friends and family got together to MAKE TAMALES we did this on DEC. 21,Isis,Skye,Susan, Carmelita,Susanna, Kennedi, Owen, Tracy, Caiden, Mona, Savannah, Sam and I and my Sister, were all the hard working participants. here some clips of the happy day.

Santa visited Chula Vista, while there, he stopped briefly to Grandma Carmen and Grandpa Sam's house.

Time with Caiden

Caiden came over, we had a couple hours of fun. Drank Hot chocolate, his was not hot!, he help out in making Mint Tea for Grandpa, sang Christmas songs, it was a great time. Omar and tracy can go shopping again any time!!

I have to mentioned that Owen my nephew help out too, though I have no pictures of him with masa up to his elbows, he did a great job keeping Caiden interested in sharing his toys with him including his " stinky"

Here, the ligths are on. I really like the way it turn out, I really, really wanted a skinny tree this year!
Next week I will have some of my family come over and help make tamales, we have being doing this for years, I hope that when I'm old or gone! one of them wil carry the tradition. Who know one of this ladies could be the next tamalera.

I send out Christmas stockings to Danielle and coasters too, the U.s. post office was nice to us,again and she received her package, she reports in saying she loves the stockings she said they hang on the fireplace I' waiting on pictures, here are some of the ones I took while "modeling" them to DH.
